Water & Music

‘Water & Music’ is a 16mm full length visual album which is a collaboration between the Gadigal Land/Sydney-based artist Climes, aka Monty Callaghan and Jordan James Kaye.

The record, is a dive into archival recordings, tape experiments and live instrumentation that succeeds in unifying individual creative expressions into a tapestry of sound through time.

The film is an experiment in chemical and analog interference using various methods to create the visual style for the entire film. The 16mm film is completely hand developed and edited by hand using the archaic analog editing process which includes striking a full; length analog master print from the master negative.
